For some extra thrill, strap into the driver seat and enable the all-new Powershot to unlock bursts of the max available electric power.
The GT models have a 2-liter engine with 268 hp and is paired to a 9-speed automatic transmission. The R/T is Dodge’s PHEV and has a 1.3-liter engine with an electric motor offering 288 hp. It is paired to a 6-speed automatic. Both GT and R/T models have all-wheel drive.
Powershot is a feature in the Dodge that can be enabled when you pull the paddle shifters on the R/T. This increases the power by 30 hp, and you can zoom from 0 to 60 mph in just 5.6 seconds.
The PHEV has a 12 kWH battery pack that allows for 30 miles of driving for each charge. The fuel efficiency of the GT model is 21 mpg in city conditions and 29 mpg on the highway.
The interiors are fairly stylish, and comfortable, and have ample space. Leather upholstery is available to enhance the overall appearance. The infotainment system has a 10.3-inch touchscreen and a 12.3-inch display gauge. Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are supported. You can opt for a wireless charging pad and a 14-speaker Harman stereo as an optional feature.
Pedestrian and cyclist detection, lane departure warning, lane assist, adaptive cruise control with lane centering, and the automated emergency braking are standard features. The two warranty options are Limited (36,000 miles or 3 years) and Powertrain (60,000 miles or 5 years).
